I recorded this with my drummer not really as a serious project, just for the hell of it.
I dragged all my recording gear into a little practice studio to record drums on a not too optimal kit, with not the most high-end recording gear so it has plenty of issues. The overhead's imaging is particularly messed up, and some cymbals are louder than others which causes major issues. No spot micing this time unfortunately. Lots of sample replacement went on to make up for the shitty drum sounds.
The guitars and Bass are a little bit less hectic, TSEX50 for the guitars and a DI bass with whole bunch of different stuff thrown at it(did it the Ola way with a little bit of my own twist).
No Vox yet.
Let me know if you guys think this mix is salvagable past where I have it now or if it is just doomed
