Does anyone else have just a random problem where podfarm (iLok version) just WILL NOT come up properly when used as a plugin??? I just can't tell if it's my computer or podfarm or cubase. It only works properly when i don't really need it to, and when I want it to work, IT WILL NOT.

The podfarm window will pop up fine, but it will not show the podfarm stuff, it shows the stuff that is below the window and it locks up my whole damn computer until I x out of podfarm.

What the hell is wrong?

Podfarm has always been a glitchy bastard when used as a VST for me. I actually stopped using it because it decided to just not show up in my plugin view (re installed 3 times, no go). I just use it for scratch tracks anyhow so I just run podfarm as standalone with a toneport.

right after i made this thread, it fucking worked!

and now it doesnt! bah humbug!

I had issues with POD Farm not working for a while. The plug in would load, but fail to output any sound and I couldn't use the amp models.
Reinstalled it, was per normal after that

Never had an issue so far. The iLok version that is.... you guys who had problems, did you use Line 6 hardware with it?

hi, any new findings since? I have a similar issue.
My Podfarm works fine in scratch projects but the GUI won't load in the main project. It stops at the frame of the plugin window, every time I try. Also tried loading a preset through that frame but no response.
It is Podfarm1 with POD X3, in Cubase SX3.
thanks

Solved: I had to freeze the VSTIs, then could insert the Podfarm instances and unfreeze. must be some kind of compatibility or resource sharing issue.

Edit: it only worked until I closed the session. after reopening, Podfarm is not affecting the sound and cannot be opened either. :(
