Any users of c6 do you think it would be worth upgrading my c5 for the new timestretch algos and multitrack editing because I double every vocal part and c5's freewarp is absolutely unusable!

the multitrack editing is a huge time saver for me, HUGE. If the track is simple, BAM, in 20 min you have a very usable quantized track instead of 45 min ~ 1 hour to edit a 5 min song using slip editing. As for the timestreching...I am not sold on it (didnt try it too much either). I reaaally prefere using Melodyne for that.

As far as quantizing drums I'd be doing that in c5 because I prefer to do it by hand but you can't stretch more than 1 track at a time in c5 and when you render time stretched tracks they get shifted for whatever reason.

You don't like the new algos?

I rarely have to use timestreching so that's not why I got C6. I do however appreciate all the subtle interface improvements and also a lot of features just work a bit better - like the hitpoint detection for example.

Do you think its worth the upgrade right now for what I'm intending to use it for (mainly probably vocal editing) or should I just say fuck it and get voc align and stick with c5
