The title says it all.
Found this problem recently. After exporting, no matter .wav or .mp3, track loses brilliance, but gains some muddy mids instead. Spectrum analyser shows that all the frequencies above 16KHz are kind of "brickwalled".
What should i do to avoid this?
No, "switch to protools you dumbass" aint the solution.

Damn dude, i use cubase also and i have never had this problem :( maybe talk to someone from steinberg, or reinstall just cubase!

Are you using dither on your master fader? At 16 bit resolution audio can still be truncated, however this typically applies to very low level audio.

Check your plug-ins - some of them may not work effectively with off-line bounce. And yes, different DAW's do have certain audible qualities, probably why PT is considered 'industry standard' - Ableton 9 is by far the worst at rendering audio in my experiences, very serious issues with their off-line bounce.
