cubase / nuendo project compatibility

i've got a project that was originally made in nuendo 3, and im trying to open in cubase 5.

the project opens and then gets a "send error report" error message and either option exits cubase 5

any LEGIT ideas?

I've had these problems, as well, going from SX3 to 5. I've had to just open the project in SX3 and finish it there or consolidate tracks and import into 5, tbh.

i have license for sx3 it came with cubase, where is the location to legitly download my copy?

Yeah they only have a download for SX3, not Nuendo. SX3 should open Nuendo 3 files fine though.

Isn't Cubase SX3 incapable of opening .npr session files?

Nope, always worked on my end.

That's good news. It never quite worked for me. In fact I didn't even realize it had the capability to open .npr files at all.
