It annoys me more when people spell things incorrectly as "text speak", but the words they are supposed to be shortening, are the same fucking length of characterslike "cee yoo 2omorrow"... *sigh*
yeah, and even worse again when they shorten emails too the same way! We get those at work every so often.. it's like "you're not paying per character dumbshit, learn to spell!"

and guys, maybe zach, you're pretty much the only forumer left from the time i first came here, but anyone remember shreddy? he was 13 when he was posting on here, but highly advanced for his years.. he is all grown up now and turned out to be such a talented guy! not that ive talked to him in years..

I remember Shreddy quite well! That guy was awesome. He still has the same msn name as back then too, signs on every now and then. I hit him up about a year back and it seems like he remembered us haha.
that guy was a badass though.

For me, my own personal progression in musical taste is in a way a curse. I get bored with stuff after a while, and I always have to find something more complicated to keep my mind interested. Symphony X was that band for a long time. At the moment its stuff like Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, which has its complexity in more abstract elements rather than the standard rhythm/melody. As I get older I'm constantly plunging deeper into the rabbit hole, trying desperately to find stuff that my brain finds new and interesting. Luckily the rabbit hole isn't so much of a hole, as it extends in various directions
.I don't think most people are like that from what I've seen. Most seem to settle on a certain style after a while.

I got banned once on a forum called shoryuken over a mod telling me not to troll.. seriously when you tell someone not to troll isn't that trolling in itself? I told him to fuck off and to add something to the conversation or don't post at all... turned out he was a MOD. It was for a week and after that week I pmed him about it and when I asked for an Admin's SN (this forum is huge and it doesn't say whos an admin or mod) he banned me for a year. Luckily I have friends in high places and got another Admin to unban me. That shit was so stupid.
