custom guitar inlays

as i have to give the shape of the fretboard-inlays to my guitar builder within 2 days, i ask you 1337-ppl to help me. can you give me some suggestions, pictures, etc.. of inlay shapes?
i'd like to have them across the whole fingerboard. it shouldnt have much curves etc..
for your orientation: sharktooth costs nothing, steve vai's would cost about 800€. it should be between 200-300 €'s.

so do not hestitate to post your ideas/pictures!

well no it wont be my name, 1stly, "interesting" letters will not be cheap.
2ndly i was thinking about sth like steve vai, just easier but nicer...

Reckon its possible to have the inlays actually go off the edge of the fretboard and around the back of the neck?

@ james: yeah good idea!! i'll ask him.. sure its possible but i think itll be too expensive
and he told me its not good making an inlay horizontally across the neck for the stability of the whole neck.. but letz see!

(the rectangles should be not cut-out (wood))
(frets/directon: 0 to 24)

and this one:
(frets/direction: 24 to 0)

any suggestions?

get the numbers of the fret like jason becker. or just get dots, they don't have to be fancy, sometimes less is more.

and dots are on PGMs therfore they pwn. and black dots look fucking awesome on a maple fretboard.

no.. dots look professional. If you wanna be wacky i guess i would go with the tree of life vine inlay. or the disappearing pyramid inlay which are both the birth child of steve vai.
