A bit too long for me, but not bad. I was watching the classic albums "black album" thing last night on the telly and was loving it. Randy Staub and Bob Rock's drum sound on that album still sounds godly.

Hmm, I still think the vocals on Load/Reload were pretty sweet, had some neat moments and a lot of details, dig that.

Full agree on anything since St.Anger, same live. Just awful.

I have honestly never downloaded a single song (by any band ever), never mind an album. But regarding Metallica...:

I bought EVERY CD single metallica have ever released (from One though to Whisky in the Jar parts 1, 2 and 3 etc). Even all the some kind of monster EP and Frantic garbage from St Anger period...

So in a short answer, no, I will not be downloading it!

I can't say I agree.

I thought I might stir somebody to quote me with that post.

I guess I was never really a Metallica fan, considering that I own exactly zero Metallica records and always felt that Megadeth, Testament, and even Anthrax were more interesting in their prime.
