Cymbal Triggering

So i bought some of joey's cymbal and i'm trying to trigger them using aptrigga 2. Only one problem, the cymbals are getting cut off each time the next one triggers and it's sounding extremely robotic. I was going through the trigger modes and none of them seemed to give me the desired result. So any tips would be awesome! Thanks!

use some sampler instead. there are plenty.

I use Steven Slate trigger to do mine. No cut offs, and the drums sound pretty awesome. THE ONLY FEW DOWN SIDES: it is EXTREMELY hard to do fade in's on the cymbals with trigger, and the master set that Joey just put out is only made for Kontakt.
