why couldn't i get into this band earlier? they are the best band i've heard in a while. i ordered eternity but it didn't arrive yet. any suggestions for the next album i should get from them?

As the lads before already recommended: Alternative 4!!! Then maybe Judgement, A fine day to Exit and then The Silent Enigma.
And if you enjoy good ol Doom, then buy Pentecost 3 and Serenades and the Crestfallen E.P. and you will nearly have finished your Anathema collection ;-))

I really like eternity, whether it is technical good or whatever. I like its melancholy, the atmosphere and frailness of the songs and their lyrics.
Though i would like to hear it in a reproduced version.

I agree, especially for the vocals, it was the first time Vinnie tried to sing with clean vocals, but he was out of tune a lot actually. The guitars are not that bad... A remake would be nice, but just making NEW albums would be nicer
