Seeing Danny in those press shots reminds me of Ben Stiller in Dodgeball.
I can't wait for the Glasgow gig, but like eveyone else I am bemused by this whole deal. As noted on other posts, we have all seen Scott's comments on TGOTE being how he has always envisaged these songs, and fellow Metal Sludgers will have seen plenty of disparaging comments from Scott & Charlie over the years regarding Joey and Dan.
"An owl hooting in the woods anyone"?? Scott describing Danny.
They took a massive step forward songwriting wise when John came on board, are they only gonna play Joey era material?
They were my fave band with Joey & Danny, and are still my faves (I am 37 and it feels kinda pathetic writing this), but what is the motivation and where is this going?
On a final point, does this indicate the reason why Frank left, ie he felt that the reunion was the best route for the band and at the time Scott @ Charlie did not agree??
