hey guys, just wondering basically what this is about; i always read dan talking about getting anders in to run this thing through his marshall for crimson but i honestly have no idea what it is. after listening to crimson so many times i'd just like to know which bit it is used in, and what to listen out for. thanks

I thought I had read something similar; however, I'm pretty sure it was Dan talking about running an amplified violin through a Marshall amp on October Tide's first album, "Rain without End" (1997).

As far as I can remember its ANDERS MÅREBY playing cello through an guitar amp. I can recognize the part when I hear it, but I don't have Crimson I in reach atm.
