Death metal anyone?

Theres all this talk about power metal an the like, what about death metal? What death band would u want to see at BS03? Ackercocke and Benediction would be good to add to the lineup(and they are both british bands ) Personaly id like to see dying fetus too.

Id love some death metal! opeth, hypocrisy, mortician or rotting christ would make me happy. Also some black metal would be awsome

Opeth - yawn. Nice to have on in the sitting
room while you're reading a book or summat
but not to have to watch at a festival.

Hypocrisy on the other hand would rule. One
of the highlights of Wacken this year for me.

Yep, Rotting Christ are pretty good live, as are Immortal. But what we really need is some black metal -- specifically, Borknagar (as I might have mentioned once or twice before!)

Hmmm. Just downloaded some of their stuff. Musically it's OK, but the vocals are just too much like a cat coughing up a hairball for my tastes...

Dying fetus are releasing a new album nxt feb
they r one of the best death/grindcore bands ive heard, excellent vocals an riffs. no idea what they r like live, but id sure like 2 find out, hmmm mayb they could appear at bloodstock 03 what u ppl think to them?

Well you'll be please to know that Rotting Christ (plus Enthroned and Primordial) have added a Welsh date to their imminent UK mini-tour. The four dates are: London (6th Jan), Cardiff (7th Jan), Glasgow (8th Jan) and Bradford (9th Jan).
