GoD: that's a good example (see other thread): Gorguts' music is certainly virtuoso, well-crafted, no one can deny this. but who can really _like_ it just because of this fact? I mean like "oh yeah now I feel like listening to some Gorguts"

You really can't go wrong with In-Quest, they're fast becoming my favourite Death Metal band.

Another bitchin DM band is a new one called Ihn Arcanbrium... amazing new band in my area, they have a few MP3's out here and there, but they should be a big name soon enough

check out Sacrilege. its daniel svensson's old band. Its kinda melodic death, but mainly its just straight death metal. They dont have a website, but the black sun site has some mp3s u can check out.

Hey, that's a pretty decent the song Crying statues ect.. is awesome.. methinks I shall go get one of the Cds... VERY melodic though, not at all straight death metal from what i've heard
