Death metal that is melodic but not melodeath

need some death metal with distinct, memorable melodies composed of massive heavy as fuck riffs with an emphasis on sounding as evil as possible

NOT "pretty and flowy" melodeath like Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquillity, etc

NOT boring monotonous blastfests

[Manic Ferocity]

I feel like it's pretty hard to avoid melodeath influence altogether when it comes to melodic death metal but these bands have significantly more DEATH metal in their sound.

Sacramentum and Dawn are definitely a little more black metal-ish. But no stretch here for a recommendation by any means. Also i know everyone loves ATG's debut, but With Fear... has always been my favourite. Anyhow, enjoy.

Maybe not what you're looking for, this is my first time listening to this band in ages, but they play melodeath pretty well. I did have one of their cds years back. I have not heard this album though and am going to have to check it out tomorrow or something.
