Hi!

I'm in the mood for some melodic death metal, but it has to have some specific characteristics!

It should be quite melodic (duh) in the sense that it is more important with beutiful leads rather than catchy riffs, and I want to be overloaded with acoustic passages, clean vocals, both male and female, folkish melodies or interludes, etc. The less normal melodic death metal riffing the better really. x) Black metal "feel" to the atmosphere is probably a plus. Modern thrash sounding or metalcore boardering bands/albums are big minuses.

I'm thinking of albums like Skydancer and Lunar Strain rather than A Velvet Creation.(which is a better album but not what I'm looking for right now).

This song, Through Ebony Archways by Dark Tranquillity is kind of exactly what I'm thinking of, it doesn't even bother with the metal part:
