Deathcore Intro. br00talz

Hey man, pretty cool - I feel there are just a bit too much mids in the guitars which kind of obscure the attack/bite, and the master bus compression/saturation is cool but a bit excessive ;) (though I guess it's just that subdrop at the beginning that's making it go apeshit, so I'd suggest bringing it down) What'd you use on the master bus? And the snare I think is too loud in the blast beat sections, but it's fine in the other parts (where it only hits once every bar)

defiantly the subdrops. oh and there isn't much i can do about the mids. its a XXX eitheer you get. mids...or no mids. haha master bus was just the c4. and very lighlty it is used. its also possible that my playing is shit and i am using stock duncan design pickups i am 100 precent sure that has everything to do with it, and yeah i'll automate the snare, thank you so much for pointing that out

It's cool but very distorted once the sub drop gets in. There's too much clipping even after the drop, however, so I'd say turn it down a little.

word its proably cause the distorting frequencies like anything from 60hz and beyond are actually still going on from the long ass bassdrop, the bass drop is like 3 seconds long

I always take out the end of sub drops from where it goes below 40hz... cus who the fuck has speakers that go that low at home that isnt an audio engineer or audio paedophile. Listen for where you can no longer hear it and cut it short.

Cool clip tho :)

Ok, im a bit of a retard, thats not a sub-drop in there, am I right in that a sub drop goes through the frequencies, where a bass boom (as in this clip) is just one tone?

Joe

word i use em to blow up kids "bad ass" car stereo systems cause all they do is brag about their sub woofaz, so epic bassdrop to make them shit in their pants.

Just look at it zoomed in, it looks as it sounds: squashed :) In fact you don't have to zoom in to see the squareness of the waveform.
