Hey, I saw those Danava folks play with Witchcraft. Don't remember much about them, though

I think the Akercocke is 2005, or else I'm really disappointed of not seeing it in anyone's list here. Either way, Words is one of the more brilliant things I've heard this year, too bad it's not as talked about as Choronzon.

I think Boris and Akercocke were too. Someone correct me (with a whip preferrably)

I know that Southern Lord's Pink came out well into '06, but I'm not sure how early it was available prior to that. Very good album.

Just not good enough to make your top 25 though. Tell me why.

To be honest, I just haven't listened to it enough to truthfully place it on that list. I've probably only heard it 6 or 7 times, and it will definitely grab your attention from the first listen. But it is something that will also take lots of listens to fully grasp. I just couldn't put it on my list with so little understanding of it. There are usually a handful of albums like that for me every year. However, a few years down the road they are the ones I still listen to. Another album like that for me this year was Boris 'Pink' . . . and Antaeus 'Blood Libel'.

I might have an extra promo of 'Instinct:Decay" if you want it.
