I don't even own any Mastodon cds or listen to them much and like them more than Amon Amarth. Amon Amarth is really boring to me and all their songs sound the same. oh well

I think Decibel magazine is by Relapse which generally is a shitty label which is probably why the list sucks. Relapse did release some classics in the early and middle 90's but now are equivalent to roadrunner records.

No, that's not true. Resound is the Relapse magazine/catalogue. And they still have a few decent bands. Mastodon isn't even on Relapse anymore though.

The Akercocke album was October 2005. Not even close. Burst was also 2005. It could be that their calendar goes back a few months into 2005, since they aren't including the last few months of 2006.
