Confessor 'unravelled' is not even on the list. I never want to hear about 'terrorizer' mag again.

So, from the top 20, Terrorizer maages to have 12 pretentious, utterly shite releases. Jesu ? Really ?

This rag is run by a procession of ego-maniac hack cunts.

Great writing, terrible tastes in music.

Hey Jersey, good to see ya again.

Some of the writing is ok - Ian Glasper and Jo Pitches kind of hit the mark consistently, but the walking Pseud that is Avi Pitchon makes my fucking blood boil. If there is some pretentious, vacuous phrase that means fuck all, or a way of insulting metal, that arsehole will find it.

Cunt.

Aside from the stupid choices like Opeth , System of A Down, TBDM, and Meshuggah, that is one of the best "professional" lists I have ever seen.

It just pisses me off that for a magazine that's so well put together, is professional, and really pays attention to the underground, that they're so caught up in being "elite" and "avant-garde."

Way too much into the -core type genres for me to ever really take them seriously, but when they DO cover bands/styles I dig, it's always well done.

Anyone who tries to find 40 good albums in any year is going to fail miserably; why is it a surprise that the list is filled with shit?

I say having 20 good albums on that list means, it doesn't suck so bad.

I compare them to CoF and DB, because listening to Akercocke produces about as much pleasure when listening to them as cutting off your own dick would. Needless to say, CoF and DB create the same sensation.
