I kind of do, even though I don't have any background or knowledge at all in that field. I can't commit because if I end up with huge amounts of schoolwork on that night I wouldn't be able to go...but if you can't find anyone else...

maybe i can stay at school and finish my work late and then head over to the club afterward. as long as they don't play too late, i could prob do it. do you have an idea what time they'll go on? i seriously don't want to do it if they don't start til 12 or 1.

alex, it's a showcase gig so I presume it'll start on-time and probably won't go too late. I think that *not* having background in the artists is a good thing b/c you'll be able to judge them on their individual merits rather than hype/hearsay. I also dunno how much hip-hop you listen to, but it's probably more than me. I'll inquire about the list.
