Decent metal bands that tune to C Sharp ?

Between the Buried and Me are in C#.
Plenty of challenging riffs and compositions to get your head around.
Debut album sucks apart from a few good songs. "Alaska" and "Colors" are the ones to get IMO.
Learn White Walls, shit loads of cool riffs to learn and an epic instrumental outro section

THIS!

Just be ready to play a different riff every 10 seconds :loco:

aaand this too...

But still, awesome riffs none the less.

Dark Tranquillity has a ton of shit in C# standard. If you mean drop... then I cant help you... I think Bullet for my Valentine is in drop

am I the only one who appreciates the Silent Circus? :erk:

That album would be much more interesting if Cynic hadn't done all of the good stuff with better vocals, better instrumentation, more coherence (read: writing parts instead of playing along with a random number generator), and no trendcore vocals.

A Perfect Circle may not be metal by some stretches, but they're in C#. Behemoth, as mentioned earlier, use C# frequently. Candlemass used it on at least some of King Of The Grey Islands, and may still be doing so. Bazillions of people use Drop B as well, so if that's an option then spend a little time learning how to use drop tunings for things that aren't mindless one-finger nonsense.

There's a good amount of Enslaved that is in C#.

Venom - "Resurrection" is in C#

Most Bloodbath is in some form of A tuning, be it dropped (ala Nile) or straight.

Candlemass "Nightfall" and "King Of The Grey Islands" is definitely in C#

There are some At The Gates demos in C#...they even covered "Captor Of Sin" (Slayer) in C#

Dragonlord is C#

Behemoth are using either C# or half step down on 7 strings...have been using this since "Zos Kia Kultus"

Newer Mayhem

Machine Head pretty much uses a drop tuning on every album...it was some semi-tone pitch down a whole step and dropped for the first album, and has been 1.5 steps and dropped after that (drop-B, or whatever the fuck).

Torinojaws: Good call on Sabbath...the original, mofuckas! "Master Of Reality" is almost all C#.
