Anybody know Defending the Faith ? Just got their 2004 released first album "Radical Change". Quite average I thought, play it once, and probably never again. Well, that is what I thought. I can not get this damn album out of my CD player since about 2 weeks. DTF is somewhere within Queensryche, Brainstorm, Nevermore, Viciuos Rumors. They have not invented anything new. Sounds like they are great musicians and a very good singer, but it is nothing surprising, regluar power metal, somewhere I read Italian style whatever that is. On the album they use a very annoying little Japanese machine for the drums, and this thing really gets on my tits. Stupid band name, poor website and ugly album cover, but anyway, it is such a great album the more I listen to it ! A bit off-topic as not old school, but anyway, if you get a chance, check them out. There is something about this album.
