i have been playing bass for many a year now and have a hunger to be in a black metal band.

i have been in many attempted bands in the past, all of which have failed miserabley due to lack of commitment from the other member.

now, i have finally formed a band with lots of enthusiasm and raw talent and we have even writen our first track. the problem is that the other members are not fond of my "type" of music and prefere the more mainstream lame bands like adema & P.O.D. which i can't stand to listen to never mind play.

they refuse to totally accomodate my musical preferences but if i drop out of the band i fear i may not find another due to my present track record. FUCK YOU FATE!!!!

i guess ur right man, i have to admit it is gr8 to play with a band line up regardless of what we play. i'll stick with it and see what comes out of it.

I've been looking for a good keyboarder for ages and I'm still looking for a basist for my band.

I've been in a band before, but all the music ever written was done by me! (I was a lame piano player back then and my bassplaying was even worse than now, not to mention guitar). The only thing i could really do was sing.
So we broke apart when the guitarrist told me he can't work with female vocals. (sexist)

I have a band in which one is Portuguese, two Brasilians and me Croatian

But this would be cool too!!

Hm, you should all come to Croatia - it's the least expensive country + you can stay at my place

@Shmeir I can understand where your coming from but if you like the people in the band, and their easy to hang out and work with, I say what the hell and play along like SilentD said

To me happened the same thing: my band decided to pull me out of the line-up as my musical interest didn't fit to the kind of music THEY decided that our bands should play (that was power metal even if our singer wasn't able even to sing like Paul Di Anno in our Maiden's covers). From that period I haven't had a band again.... so if you need another guitar player for the black band you are forming... well, THINK OF ME!!!!!! I really love black metal and it's one of my dream to play it....

a complete band line up with very similar tastes!!! and only a few hunderd thousand miles seperating us all

we need a name guys..... i know, something original like "Firesky"

it just seems FAR to big and overwhelming for me, i mean i think the british isles is massive

ur quite correct SD most people do mistake bands with a black metal vox to actually be black metal, many of my friends do it all the time, the uneducted bums!!

on Henrik's bio on the official site it says he likes the cof and it'd be nice to know of any others who appreciate them.

thjey were like the first really heavy band i got in to so they will always have a warm place in my heart

hey jonas how long do you think a demo should be? you guys didnt have too long of a demo, like 10 minutes, and i have one song that is about 12 minutes so you think that one song would be enough?

I think you should have at least 3 songs.. it looks like you have more material than if you just have one song. I thinke the people at the record label would prefer that anyway...

ah... what do I know.. I think you should do what you think is the best

We still miss the drummer and growls. I can do the female vocals. (I can do opera, pop ands Sinergy-like vocals...is that ok?)
