Yes, but Necropolis already has the money. You're buying from an independent seller. If I, for example, sold you my copy of Nespithe, none of the money would go to Necropolis. It's too late to stop Necropolis from cheating the band out of whatever money they received for the CD.

I'm sure Necropolis will be reissuing it for the thousandth time soon, now that the band is developing a larger cult following. Just don't buy it!

I like buying used CDs. It's less in the landfill. And while I don't worry about it, I wouldn't buy from anyone with whom I violently disagreed, such as Apple Computer, Inc. or the Mossad.

But, when artists like Mr. Demilich make available the recordings online in original format (.FLAC), there's no reason to complain. In fact, it's damn fine of him to do so.
