Does everyone here wear deodorant? How bad is deodarant that has aluminium in it, really? And do you think if you stop wearing deodorant you gradually smell less?

These are pressing issues which demand attention.

Depends on your skin Tanya.

I find that when I use alcohol based deoderant that is aluminium free for too long I have a bad reaction to it, yet I can use alcohol free aluminium based deoderant without any problems.

Fuck knows if its bad for your skin, but it beats having a rash, or smelling like crap.

Yeah same salty. I've recently made the switch to aluminium free and it always smarts when I put it on after shaving my hippie armpits. I'm just worried about all this stuff you hear about aluminium deodorants being linked to breast cancer and what not.

I use Rexona Sport (spray - not aerosole). Its the only one i find that works for a long period. Personally, Lynx has a nice smell and all but it doesn't last like Rexona.

I just go to the shop that used to be Clints (is it the Warehouse ??), and get a bunch of cans at $2 each.

They are pretty OK.

I don't like the aluminium, and links to Oldsheimer's disease, but if you don't use it you stink.

You can buy Tea tree deodorant or crystal deodorant from all health food or food co ops these don't give the same reaction as the ordinary aluminium free deodorants. Kem I know the feeling of shaving the hippie pits and spraying deodorant on after.Or you can go to lush and buy one of their block deodorants.
I have used aluminium free stuff for years.

I usually use Lynx or Gillette Dufour or something like that, but I actually started getting an itchy as fuck rash a while back, so I have started using some alcohol skin care roll on shit, with doesn't give the me rash and smells alright. Nivea somethingarather I think it is.
