I know people here have heard DevilDriver, but I doubt that the majority have even heard the new album. I know some here haven't, like genocide roach. He just assumes DevilDriver is still crap based on the first album alone.

yeah i think they suck. I dont really see what the do thats great. BUT, all a band has these days is a live show , and i have seen them live; they do a pretty good job

Are you serious? I saw them opening for suffocation a couple years ago and I really wished I had been late to the show. They were boring as hell. No energy on stage coupled with bland music isn't my definition of a good live show.
Maybe they really improved recently but from what I saw it seems highly doubtful.

Devildriver is definately a whole lot better thean Coal Chamber.. but Nadja Peulen who played with them live wasn't to bad looking...
The first albums weren't anything amazing but The Last Kind Words was an improvement....

I have to admit I like all the albums, I'm quite the fan.
But I'm also aware that for a mixture of:
A) They play tough guy metal
B) Dez used to be in Coal Chamber. Who are less respected than black people on 4chan.
C) People hear the first album and assume they were always shit
They aren't particularly popular.
