First of all sorry for the dumb question.
I download many Di files from this site
Some of the di files of guitar and bass was in a proper constant level like Ola's and few other's
and some are like High than again goes low...preety much up and down all over
I hope you folks got it..
My question is how do i keep it in a certain level??
is it by Limiter or by automation
or does that even matter? o_O

EMG's ran at 9 volts clip internally, so it will look like the DI's have been limited.

EMG's run at 18v, or passive pickups, will be more dynamic.

usually there's no need to compress or limit DI tracks, once you insert distortion the guitars start to compress on their own. The passive pickups DI's are more dynamic than active, you shouldn't worry about this just record the DI's under -6dbfs and its ok. If you wan clean tones without distortion then compress and or limit.

set your audio interface input level a 0db and play as stronger as you can, when u see that clipping pull down a little bit till you get the best signal without clipping :)

Blackouts as well, every active device has limitations of output level, depending on supply voltage.
