Hi guys,
Im looking into reamp products to purchase so ive done my research again to refresh my memory and came to a conclusion that i was hoping you could confirm:
You guys liked the redeye for reamping but thought it would be worth shelling the extra cash to buy the countryman type 85 (the type 10 came later so i couldnt find much reviews; also im still not sure of the difference :s ) for the quality of the DI compared to the redeye especially when tracking passive pickup guitars which is the case here.
At that time the circuitry in the redeye was passive so it kinda makes sense that you came to this conclusion, but since then the redeye 3d offers both active/passive circuitry so im thinking of taking that route since it should solve that issue.
Is that the right conclusion or would you still not recommend me to do that?
(there wasnt any redeye 3d shootout i could find)
