DI?

I've got a pretty big project to do next week, i currently have an RME Fireface 800 and a Great River 1nv. I'm going to be tracking guitars and bass direct and want to know if a great di box will be needed or I can just track directly into fireface instrument in or the di on the great river. I want to have the option of reamping through head and cab or also use podfarm or impulses or whatever. Would you guys spend the money on a Countryman or alike? Thanks \m/

A good DI is always useful to have around, but the DI on the Great River is really excellent already. That's probably what I'd use.
