Good work, son. Now go get his other three "pop" albums. And the first two Roxy Music albums. And Bowie's Berlin trilogy. And Talking Heads. And the one he did with David Byrne. And the one he did with John Cale.

Seriously, everything the dude touches turns to gold. And he can't even play any instruments.

I only recently learned that he was somehow involved in Slowdive's "Souvlaki." Which is, of course, like most albums I listed, complete tits.

Funny that his album Before And After Science has a song called "Here He Comes" and Souvlaki has "Here She Comes".......... also the thread title made me think of the song "Alison"

John Cale is THE SHIT, just in general.

His two songs with Nick Drake ("Fly and "Northern Sky" from Drake's Bryter Layter) are incredible.
