Go to the recent Magnum "On a story tellers night" gigs?

If so what were they like?

I first saw Magnum on that very tour in 1985, and they were awesome, I've just bought the 20th anniversay CD and all the memories have come flooding back, tremendous.

YES! I did! I went to the woles gig. Awesome night. Fireworks, it was sold out, Great crowd. They sang just 2 songs off the new album, lots of old stuff, kingdom of madness, vigilante, endless love, lonely night, just like an arrow, how far jreusleum, soldier on the line, loads more. Brilliant gig

Cool! Have not heard them for years, I had no idea Magnum were still around at all ! Speaking of Magnum though, it was great when a few years back channel 5 showed every episode back to back! Brought back some great childhood 80's memories, and gave me a reason to get up each morning when i was not working! I think im still in love with that red ferrari !!!

Ok mate, i will keep an eye out for sure, i remember it was my dad and his mate who actually pointed me toward magnum (the band!) must of been the early 90s then! be good to have a listen to them again, i remember very little (thats alcohols fault) but i did like what i was listening to!

I'm not familiar with Magnum & Thunder. To be honest, they came from a decade that I'd rather forget!! Although, I do remember Thunder charting at some stage with a song that had a video with the band on the beach? Pretty 80's kind of stuff, if I recall.
Mind you, Saxon did not drag me into their realm until the 80's so what's my opinion worth?!!
Regarding the TV show - that guy was Highly Camp! Like an 80's Freddie Mercury reject! And Higgins...? Well, all I can say is those two had some kind of Gay father/son vibe going.... Magnum hanging out with Sexy chicks was just a cover!

Yeah it prolly was! I guess he had spent to much time 'in the navy' before he became a PI , but damn that programme had some great 80's style babeage in it !

Valanx - Ha! Yeah, it sure did! Along with 'Charlie's Angels', 'Knight Rider', 'Wonder Woman' and 'Dempsey & Makepeace' the show kind of kept my Pre-Teen mind active in regard to all pleasant looking female forms! I consider it all part of a healthy boy's education!!
Yet, even back then, I thought there was something sinister about Sellecks 'Tasche!!
