it's not the tightest amp on the planet, but this sorta "stickiness" does have something unique for sure...

Not bad man.

I have a buddy who played one of these once or twice and he's got this INSANE hard-on for one. Though the clips I've heard don't wow me too much considering the head is almost $4,000 USD.......
 
For some reason I never liked playing the Herbert very much (my brother had one for a few years) but this here sounds absolutely awesome! It's without a boost, right?
 
Interesting. Sounds like an early rev g triple recto in the highs and lows but with 5150 voiced mids.
 
it's definitely very unique, yes...
the Diezel trademark IMO is that sort of sludgyness in the mids and lows...kinda slow tracking for fast palm mutes....still not untight sounding.
....don't know how to describe how it sounds and especially feels other than "sticky"....works really well for some things.

haven't managed to fully capture that quality with the KPA yet, the profile always comes out tighter/faster tracking
