Jewel Cases wins, I don't really have a problem with digis breaking (never happened to me) but they are so random sizes that it ruins my order in my cd shelf! It is weird how industrial/ambient/neofolk labels seems to love digipaks. I swear that 70% of all albums from those genres I have are in digipaks.

I used to say digis because they rule but since my Day of Reckoning fell out of my school bag and got stepped on I hate them now, so jewel cases it is!

Also, vote for me or die by rusty spoon.

I choose Jewels cases because I am completely clumsy, and I've very good at dropping them, kicking them out of my car, and spilling beer/whisky/water on them, but I do prefer the look of a digicase. It just so happens I'm not good when handling them.

By the way, swizzlenuts ftw.

EDIT: I think my name looks way cooler like swizzlenuts instead of Swizzlenuts; the capitol 'S' makes it look lame.

Interesting.

If anyone is interested in trading a digipak with its jewel case equivalent, let me know. I guess that would mean listing all the digipaks you have and seeing if I have them in jewel case, but anyway, it's an option. You can always PM me.

I'm with JK here, I love the extra effort that goes into digipacks and digibooks. I always take better care of CD's with those types of packaging as well.

The Paradise Lost digipack is one of the few I can say I regret purchasing...those stupid cardboard flames covering the CD tear away easily, the booklet fails to stay in place, etc.

I liked the symx digi. I don't keep the disk in there anyway, so the case stays safe

lol @ anyone who thinks 'N Crugu Braduli or Maistru Sfetnic jewel cases > digipak packaging

if anyone has the digipak version of Det Som En Gang Var and wants to swap for the jewel case version, let me know!

Yeah, I'm also having problems with the Wolves one. The fucking CD is getting scratched to hell every time I take it out. Leaving it out of the case for the time being till I come up with a solution.

Is the jewel case the original, or that Brazilian or some shit press?

I don't give a fuck about editions and versions and all that collectors elitist crap. If the music is EXACTLY the same as the original, and all you're getting is an identical version licensed out for distribution, then it's good enough for me.

The only thing I don't like are these re-releases with 4 live tracks, 2 demo tracks, 3 alternate ending tracks, and a bonus interview with the drummer's live in gf. What the hell?!? Do they actually think people are going to buy a second copy of an album they already own for this tripe? Though, it's fine by my me when they add a previously released ep to the end of a re-released full length.
