Russian releases are notorious for misprinted booklets and a number of other nasty little defects.

I can't think of any examples of typos on front covers, but I know of two reissued CDs with typos on the spine: Opeth's "Mornigrise," and "The Awakening" by MERCILENSS. To quote that one Itchy & Scratchy fanboy, "I sure hope someone got fired for that."

(Neither of those were Russian, btw. I've never had any issues with Russian CDs, other than the little disclaimers on the front covers, which didn't bother me a whole lot.)

Did your CD not come enclosed in a plastic sleeve? Mine did, so that every time I remove it from the case, the sleeve protects it.

It's a pain sliding the sleeve back in to the digi.

I like the new jewel cases. Like the one in the new DarkThrone. If you have FOAD with the new case you know what i mean. You have to push the side to open it. Its kinda cool incase you drop it the cd wont fall out.
