So, I was doing some guitar tracks with my Red Eye today, and I noticed I could hear the monitors through my pickup. I heard the metronome and the drums I was playing to on the recorded track. So, I switched inputs from my red eye to the instrument in on my fp10, and didn't hear it anymore... What's with this? The guitar was an esp viper with the EMG-HZs....

Depending your DAW there should be a window for Adding and removing busses. If you are pluggin in JMic's or an instrument into anything other than the 1st 2 inputs on the FP10 a new bus must be added to allow the computer to record from that input. As for the monitors through your pickups, sit farther away from them.

nope. Found out what it was.

I had the trs to xlr coming from my interface plugged into my little labs as I was using it as a DI and it was picking up something... I don't know really. I just know when I either take out the xlr from the interface out of the red eye or I push in the local/exp in button it goes away...

Best to unplug any cables not being used in the process at the time, they're not gonna help the process anyways. I've the exact same set up as you( redeye and firepod) and never have problems with bleed. Redeye's di sounds better to me by a decent bit to the firepods ones.

Far as I know the local/exp in is for choosing which input you're using, I use it for re amping since i use jack cables instead of XLR's from the firepod. I switch it to exp to use the jack in at the rear of the redeye

Well when using the Di its pretty simple. Guitar-> instrument in, XLR out into XLR in of the interface. Change the di/reamp switch to DI. Not really anymore to it than that.
To re amp I use a TRS jack from 1 of the line outs, to the ins thru/exp in( I think- don't have it with me to check if thats the right one) select re amp and exp on the front and away you go. Thats all there is to using it

"Local/exp in selects whether the re-amp source is the rear female xlr or the rear expansion in trs jack (for use with other redeyes as a multi out re-amp or guitar splitter)"

So it switch the input between the XLR input (line level in) and the TRS (expansion in).

It seems like I am doing everything right, but my reamp signal is just a tad bit weaker than if I were to be playing it with a guitar straight into the amp. hm. Maybe I don't have it tracking good enough as a DI in my DAW. it's peaking at -3.

your re amp signal will usually be weaker than a guitar signal by a little, give the fader a bit of a boost or else if you're using a boost pedal of some sort raise it a little more than ordinary.
