Disassembled - working on the debut album

Hi guys!

I released this week the first single from my band Disassembled. Check it out!




Im doing all the mixing and mastering stuff also. Its my second mix, so im struggling to achieve the best i can. all recorded in my home studio.

Im trying to release the final product in the end of summer, so if you can, feel free to give me some feedback, what can i do in the mix to improve the final work.

I like the drums. Did you want the distant "large" sound on the guitars? There is a lot of cab sound on them. Would make them hard to sound tight. I don't use impulse responses on the DAW. I tend to like a focused sound. So I just leave the guitars as single SM57 rammed on axis on the dust cab of a 412 V30 Cab in an Isolation cabinet I built. But I play a different style to this. Certainly you have achieved a large sound, and the mix was decent.
