Do any of you guys watch sports, or are you all just computer nerds?

Yeah, the more I thought about it as I was sitting on the toilet, I fit the two hand in hand.

LOL hahahaha

Derick and Derek, thanks for saying everything that I was too lazy to type, I'm sure you both understand perfectly.

You have a bad relationship with your toilet then.

For me, I turn on the radio, grab the paper, open the window slightly and relax.

AND if you were semantically playing upon language, let us clarify: I speak of sitting upon the toilet, in the regular way.

But I don't know of anyone who could put sports watching on the same level as music, where individuals can proclaim that music has an impact on their lives emotionally or spiritually, above simple entertainment.

Do people really get this passionate about sports?

of course they do.

Not into sports unless they involve cars - I think part of it is how you grow up. My dad never taught me football or baseball or basketball... I learned how to take care of a car... and to love racing. NASCAR is my sport o' choice. And people shall cringe reading this, knowing I shall go straight to hell - heaven-forbid I dislike american football, for I'm from the land of the "Packers"
:OMG:
LOL

Isn't that Loomis' team? Uh-oh, better watch out, he's gonna shred your face off!

i'm going to watch the 2006 world cup if they broadcast in america on a channel that i have (the regular comcast pack). Otherwise, i like pingpong, to play not to watch. I also like football (soccer) and i am going to play next year for my high school's varsity team. This year i was really out of shape and i was in the JV team.
And yeah i'm a computer nerd at the same time, i play World of warcraft when i have some time and i;m really bored of playing guitar. Playing wow is like taking vitamins:lol:

I agree with Derek, it can be a spiritual experience. I'm from Pittsburgh, and this whole town went fucko when the Steeler's won the Super Bowl. Tonight, the Stanley Cup finals (game2) is on the T.V. I'll be right there for this.

if sex was a sport, this would be me

I don't wish to derail this thread, but I am curious: What do you folks define as a sport? In what ways do sports differ from games? Is golf a sport? Is bowling a sport? What about hiking or other physical activities not commonly considered sports?
