I'm just wondering because upon listening to Christmas for the 24809th time, I'm noticing a lot of similarities between the two. Or at least between this album and Panopticon.

I can hear where they're drawing from the same source for their experimentation, but so far I haven't been able to get lost in that album the way Panopticon continues to enthrall me...

I much prefer Old Man Gloom because they know that idiots like me don't want to listen to heavy shit for an hour straight, gotta break it up with bizarre passages.

Like Genghis Tron, but not as weird.

I like music. Not 1 minute songs surrounded by feedback with samples of dudes trying to sound smart. Carry on.
