I think saunas are gay, a bunch of guys sitting around sweaty and half naked. Great sounds wonderful.

Ha, ha!!! Well, we all know that USA is the most homofobic country in the world!!!...You obviously don´t know toomuch about
sauna. Nudity is natural. In USA most people (guys) have never seen their moms naked. At least that´s what I´ve heard...

:p Saunas rule! God knows I would not have survived all these years of swimming without the mandatory sauna afterwards!

No im not homophobic I have afew gay friends, and I have seen my mom naked <shudders>, but I just dont like it, sorry maybe I am American, but I dont like the fact that im naked in a room with abunch of guys just sitting around, I played sports in Highschool, and I was naked in front of guys alot of times, I just dont like it. SO FUCK OFF:D

Hey !!!

Nice topic and nice posts ;) Discussing things like saunas disliked by many persons lol. ok. so i have to give another example for awful pain. after driving the motorway with 190 km/h and open roof my eyes are aching so much... My left one is so red.. my mom just thought ive been smoking too much cannabis ;D

Have to eat something ! cya

I've been in horrible physical pain two times in my life.

Once when I had pnemounia when I was little. I couldn't drink or eat (no appetite) and had to go to a hospital for a while. They put an IV tube in my arm.

During last summer I got a ear fluid imbalance sickness and couldn't keep anything down (even water) for a week. I had to watch myself for a few weeks before and after that too.

As for emotional and mental pain., my physical pains are very slight when compared to that. :s

Kind of depends... where I used to go we have around 60-85 degrees. Now don't tell me what temperatures you people in Finland use to endure, because you are lunatics every one of you who enter a sauna above 100

Even 85*C. Not bad for a swede:) ... It´s not always temperature dependant. If air changes well enough and is not too dry, it not a problem at all at 100*C...

@Siren: I think there had to be a fire right under your bum, and after few minutes you'd boil. So it's not excatly possible in a big chamber. But we can't boil, 'cause we have our own "cooler-system"; we sweat, the water from our body makes our skin cooler. And I think we are smart enough to go to a cooler place when it comes too hot
