Do you have any collections?

I have 500+ keychains : started on the day of my honeymoon when some old lady came up to us and was so enthralled we were just married, that she had to give us something. She reached into her pocketbook, and gave us a rainbow sandle keychain - and thus, the collection started.

Also, does 400+ CD's constitute a collection?

i have an honest-to-god collection, and it's quite dorky, i guess. i have about 300 giraffes, don't know how many exactly. i can't tell you how many thousands of dollars have probably gone into this. and it's origins aren't that exciting either. an aunt of mine who collects ducks (???) gave me a couple giraffes (i'm tall -- especially when i was 12, when this started) and encouraged me to start collecting. so now i have this weird giraffe fetish. feel free to send me presents.

I used to collect hat pins. I have about 200, from places I've been. They are useless things that I shouldn't have spent my money on. I also collect cats. I only have about 40 though. Other things I've collected:

Stamps: 3 albums
Money
And other lame things that I won't admit too.

so where do you keep all these giraffes? dont they cost a lot to feed and house? you must be the richest person in the world (but not literaly), anyway thats a cool collection to have, if not a lot of hassel to take care off.

i THINK you're joking, but since i'm not sure, i'll let you in on a little secret.....ssshhhh....they're not real giraffes. the best ones sit quite nicely in a big display case, and i feed them lots of air and dust.

hmn, well if they aren't real how do they take up space unless you mean not living giraffes and models, but then you would have said , oh and sorry for being annoying, i was bored and had just been drenched coming back from school, and the rain stopped when i got home, which i found annoying as it started when i left school too

As a kid, I collected bottle caps from the beer my father drank. It was a useless collection, not worth a penny, or fun to display. So I stopped.

I collected comics, and had a decent collection of Predator and Star Wars comics.

I used to collect ALL things Star Wars. I had a video tape full of every mention I could find of Star Wars on TV. Anything mentioned in passing, or parodied on cartoons. I had old magazines, toys, storybooks, records. I even audio-taped the movies for road-trips. Wow.. that sucked.

Now, I suppose I collect cameras, but I only have 3. I'd buy more in a second, but my rule is that I have to be able to use them. I have two antique cameras that I use, one of which produces some sharp, quality images.

Oh! I collect debt. I have a lot of that.
