no L.A's Gates of Metal Festival III would be better...in all actuality though, it would probably be better to do the new england metalfest because its bigger, but i dont think Orphaned Land would fit in well there because its all metalcore and hardcore bands with the occasional real metal band like Iced Earth or Nevermore or Children of Bodom. Orphaned Land should do a US tour with Nevermore.

actually only last year was really mostly "core" this year theres a lot of real metal bands supposed to be there (behemoth, cryptopsy, and dark tranquillity are the only ones i can think of at the moment, but there are bunch... just look at the century media tour page)

I havn't heard Therion but three of the guys in Therion (guitarist, bassist, singer) did a death metal side project called Demonoid. I bought te CD on a whim and I think its cool. Heavy, fast, and melodic with really cool solos. The vocals are cool too, heavy growling vocals by the therion singer.

why?

well as much as I know, the band wasnt ready for that. It would`ve been their first serious tour after years of shows at home and only one aboard (istanbul 01) and also Yossi started a project at work (he works for microsoft israel) so he was committed for these.
