Do you let the 50/60Hz analog hiss on your plugs ?

Always off.
Like Ermz says, if you are working at -18 and making sure you adjust outputs of plugins to keep that level through to outputs, the hiss becomes very loud across several waves plugins, especially if you use 1176>LA2 on vocals.
AFAIK on waves the analog switch is the hiss and nothing else.

This actually explains the weird noise floor issues I've been having lately

I kind of agree with Ermz that if you work at -18dBFS having too much of the noise from these plugins gets overpowering fast

I agree with the whole "digital offers a low noise floor level because that's what we wanted for years"- argument, then again:

This song totally benefits from the hiss, makes the quiet parts seem really quiet and intimate. So, basically: when the song calls for it, I put some in, otherwise I don't, but I do want to have the option to do so and not have some developer make the choice for me.

I like the hiss my self, feel as though it adds a bit of character. Especially during moments of silence, but it does sometimes add up to be too percent in a mix occasionally I agree.

Always off!!! It just builds up too quick. I hate when I forget one ON and I have to search for which plugin I left it on in >_<
