If so..post a pic of your stuff....

I played for years starting in high school, but sold all my shit to get married to my first wife. ...I just purchased a Warlock (Platinum Series) with a Floyd Rose speedloader bridge. The amp is a Behringer 100 w practice amp with built in effects, that I got used at guitar center fer 125.00.
This after 18 years of not playing....but stuff is coming back pretty quick - I'm trying to get to where I can play lead...practicing scales, etc. Here's the only picture I've got.....WHY does my wife (2nd :dopey: ) and kids put all their shit on my side of MY bedroom?:err:

Sorry fer the lousy pic.

I have been playing drums since I was 12 and I am now 25 years old. I have a couple sets. I have a Starclassic, a Ludwig and some crappy electronic drums. Most of the people who post here play some kind of instrument or another. Don't have a pic on hand though

instruments and recording gear

2 tama rockstars, all paiste cymbals, jackson king v 3 with floyd, b.c. rich rich bich with floyd, digi 002 with protools LE 7, presonus digimax lt,mackie 24 8, and a whole collection of bitchin mics.

what cymbals you got myhatred? you gotta try a paiste dimension. amazing sound with a snare.

On my Ludwig, I have Sabian B8's, nothing special. On my Starclassic set, I have Zildjian's Z Custom Series. Really good for metal. I have never really played Paiste and have been debating checking them out. I really want to replace my cymbals on my Ludwig set but it hasn't been a huge priority because that set is at my parents and I don't play them as often.

I play guitar...started at 12, I'm 39 now. I attended Berklee College of Music for a while and taught locally after that, played in bands here and there. I got married young(22) and have 4 boys ages ranging from 2-15, so I'm very busy and don't have much time to myself. My oldest plays drums and guitar. I've been heavy into it again this past year. It feels good. I missed it. It comes back and then some! I have a red tiger maple topped customized Jackson professional...gorgeous axe...and a black1987 G&L SC-3...made in the Leo Fender days. I play through a pre-transtube Peavey Bandit 112 which is ok(it's loud and reliable), and I have a Roland Micro Cube practice amp...the greatest practice amp on the planet! I probably have pics at home. I've had many guitars and amps over the years. I recently sold a 1981 white Dean V on eBay...I needed the money...it was the most valuable, yet least important to me.

i had some B8's...sound like crap, but didnt break on me. paiste RUDE's are loud and heavy as fuck for metal. id skip the paiste's and just get a whole set of WUHAN's hahahaha, probably get away with 10 cymbals for 100 bux.

I played bass when i was like 14 for about a year. Stopped after that and got a guitar instead. Been playing guitar for I guess 5 years now. I got a black LTD SC-500 (Steven Carpenter Sig) and a see through blue LTD MH-100 with a lisenced floyd. I replaced the pickups in the MH-100 with EMG H4s but this is my first floyd experience, and I suck at maintaining it, it keeps falling out of tune, and its really pissing me off.

Gear: I have a broken ass old vintage amp: Guild Thunder II with Reverb, 2 POS heads: a Yorksville Stage 150GA and a Marshall Valvestate 100W, and 2 Pedals: a Boss MT-2 Metal Zone (soon to be on ebay) and a Boss GT-6. I also use my PC for playing through and possible recording, i have a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Za Platinum.

Im eyeballing a Line6 Spider II 120W amp on ebay now... might make it mine tonight.

I have Floyd Rose vibratos...my G&L has their own fulcrum type...it's nice, but honestly, I never even attach the bar. ESP/LTD makes some nice, reasonably priced stuff. I'm not much on EMG's...I feel they're rather lifeless, not much character...give me Seymour Duncan Distortions anyday. I installed a Duncan Distortion set on my Jackson...I bought them in '82 and had them in another axe just sitting around. They're aged beautifully and sound amazing!

A lot of people really like the Line 6 stuff. I've backed off because the combo amps don't seem very rugged. I have a friend who swears by them. I really dig the Roland Cube 60...great modeling, great effescts, light weight and loud enough for small gigs. I would like to pick one up soon...the Micro Cube is amazing.

My SC-500 has the "Duncan Designed" pickups in it.. they sounds good, but I think the H4s sound better. (then again the Duncan Designeds are probably the low end pieces of shit models.

I like the LTDs, they are usually reasonably priced, I got the MH used at a samash for 160 and the pickups i got on ebay for 80. But when it comes to nice guitars... IMO the best guitar I've ever used was my friend's Peavy Predator.. Its a strat body with an all maple neck / frettboard. The thing feels smoother than butter. When i search for the predator on google, i can never find the same one he had.. oh well.. maybe someday he will sell it to me.

Some Ibanez RG i got for free, and a Peavey TransfEX 210 I think. I bought it in the ninties, one of the first digital amps I believe, its ok. Playing for like 12 years now
