id still consider myself a fan, but i wouldnt buy the experimental album. and id be happy if the band started makin metal again
I take it you still support Dark Tranquillity even after a few bad albums.
Haven and Damage Done were bit redundant but they redeemed themselves w/ Character. Fiction is probably better than Character even.Yep.
Though I never really found any of their albums bad by any means. I mean sure, the EPs were quite shitty, but that was all the way back 15 yesteryears ago, so it's okay.
I prefer newer Anathema and Katatonia vs. old so I can agree. If a band comes out with few bad albums in a row and then redeems themselves with something amazing, It's hard to write them off. Id say the only band that has been written off for eternity from me is Metallica. Just like AchrisK stated.
Haha...
The first thing I thought was:
Do you still support...the war against Christianity.
i just know one band that has realized it: The Gtahering
Hey children grinder, do you mean grinder as in going to elementary school dances (if there are any) and grinding against the kids?
Or putting them in a meat grinder like the school did in The Wall
Very good movie but that's off topic.
I haven't listened to any metal bands that have become experimental but I listen to experimental music, such as The Mars Volta, and Pink Floyd.
I've never heard of The Gtahering
putting them in a meat grinder like the school did in The Wall
experimental is'nt bad, but all metal bands that tried to make experimental music didn't make a good job, except the gathering.
check this out the gathering
ya must be very perspicacious to do it
Hell, even I don't use that word. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that word.
I'm the opposite. old Anathema/Katatonia > new stuff.
