i've been having problems with my monitors for a while now, the right one makes a loud pop when its turned on and it wont work untill it pops again. it just hums and makes crackling sound when i try playback, it used to take about 20 mins till the second pop but now it often wont work all day.
recently the left monitor has been starting to do the same thing. after speaking to some engineers they seem to recon it may be a problem with electricity build up. i also asked at a music shop and they said it was my sound card, so i tried turning my monitors on while not connected to my soundcard and it still happens.
anyone had any problems like this or have any ideas how to deal with this problem?
i dont think i can take trying to mix with headphones anymore!
