Does drinking milk improve your death metal growl?

I guess it helps me a lot, only because the gurgle in the milk accentuates the depth of the growl...

Only could think about this the last time I saw Mikael coming towards the venue when I saw Opeth back in 2004... with about 8 cups of Starbucks coffee in his hands(in trays, probably for other people).

Also wondering how to sustain a growl like Mike's along without wrecking my vocals... Considering he's been going a steady 15 years doing it without destroying his anyways...

It's all an act. Mike really doesn't do teh Death Growl. He actually has a vocal synthesizer that makes the sound for him.
