Does the Maidens play any new stuff from MAIDEN?

If you go back through some of the threads there are set lists posted from various shows.

The most recent one they did when I saw them last was The Wickerman.

Jim

Except for Wickerman and once playing Blood Brothers, I don't think they've ever played anything more recent than Fear of the Dark.

I'm still hoping for Paschendale, The Clansman, and Blood on the World's Hands.

Cool Jenna.

Ladies if you have all those songs in your rep, can we make requests?

Can you do Infinite Dreames, Where Eagles Dare, and Aces High at Canes?

Jim

I don't think the current line up knows all those songs.

Perhaps not Jeff. A guy can dream can't he? :Spin:

Doesn't really matter which songs they play but if I ask nicely.......:loco:

I have faith that whatever ones they do will be great. :headbang: :kickass:

Actually with the exception of 2 songs, Aja and Wanda know all the rest too! :headbang: Liz is on her way. With only 4 months of being on board, she's already about halfway there . :hotjump:

Still Life and Daughter.

I don't know if I'd worry too much about Bring your Daughter. :yuk: :yuk: :ill: :yuk:
It was named by many folks in the Worst Maiden songs thread.

If you had to do something from No Prayer how about Tailgunner.

I love Tailgunner's feel. Definitely not out of the question for the future. Daughter was done waaaaay in the beginning of this band as a "quick add" to get our setlist up for a required setlist time. ;) It was an easy learn. We haven't played in years and most likely it is retired from our setlist. he he.

Is there any audio/video floating around of you girls playing it? Would quite like to hear that one! It was the song that got me into Maiden in the first place and I love Janick's solo in it!! :headbang:

I play in a Maiden tribute myself and I know what it's like trying to include newer songs... They just don't seem to go down as well which is SO frustrating for me. I'm itching to smack the shit outta the kit on Paschendale!

Daughter always gets a huge reaction when we do it... Lengthen the intro, get some crowd participation goin and Bob's your uncle.

welcome graham \m/ yeah paschendale is a great live song that we've talked about tackling too
daughter tho, we played it our first show and that was it! uncle bob never got the chance to sing along  your version sounds like fun :headbang:
