Dollhouse

So, the unaired episode 13 (Epitaph 1) is probably the best episode of a television series since Battlestar Galactica's 33.

Whedon is officially granted his "God" status back.

Spoilers ahead:

---------------

Whedon said at the Dollhouse panel that this post apocalyptic tale will be utilized to tell the story in season 2. The coming episodes will be telling how the world has entered the fucked up state that it is. While we got some notion of what happened through memories, he also said that some memories may have been altered, and not to believe everything that the memories hold, but the story will be told.

-----------

It's too fucking good.

Non spoiler news: Summer Glau is going to be in the second season. Will the curse of Summer Glau prevail? Most likely. The season is also shorter and much more to the point than last season (thank FUCK).

Thats how the episode opens... it's like this episode was built to make max cum.

Niiiiiice. I still don't have internet in my apartment (at the moment I'm stealing wireless, but its super slow and only works 1/3 of the time), so I'll probably buy the dvd. Out tuesday, is it?

Yeah.

Oh, and as for the original pilot on it... seems like Joss was going to make things go a bit faster with it, fox didn't like that. It's a pretty good episode.

Joss Whedon on the new direction of the series:

"As long as we don't send anyone to feudal Japan, I think we'll be OK."

OH SNAP. TAKE THAT HEROES.

Fillion is on Castle currently and Baccarin is in the new V remake. Don't think they'll be free to play dolls anytime soon. Then again, Tudyk is also in V, and he's supposedly going to return as Alpha, so what do I know.

So the new season so far has been really good. Slow paced, but interesting. The most recent episode was phenomenal. Total "holy shit" moment when Echo stabbed the dude in the neck.
