Ripper has nothing to do with it.That's how it began,but they started changing his story and now Rock Star has nothing to do with Ripper or JP.The working title of the movie was actually Metal God.
yes yes i know that this is why the movie is lamer than it should be also it's "rock star" instead of "metal god" as to attract the yuppier crowds.....but i'm sure you already know this
